PSA - strings galore

What's Hot
Alarmingly cheap but Artist stuff is generally very good ... £12 for 12 packs of bronze strings? And free postage...

I've bought and used the electric and acoustic Artist Guitars own-brand strings a number of times.  To me they sound and feel perfectly good, and the winding at the ball ends and on the wound strings seems to be nice and tight, but the electric strings do blacken your fingers quite noticeably even after a short play.  I've had more expensive branded strings do this also (can't remember brand as I just use Rotosounds now), so these ones aren't unique.

I would put them roughly on par with Thomann's Harley Benton own-brand strings.  Not their "value" ones, but the standard packs.

Even if you do a lot of work on guitars and need cheap strings to put onto the guitars while working on them these are ideal, and in fact was the main reason I bought them but I actually liked the acoustic strings enough to keep them on a couple of my guitars for a while.

I took a punt on these strings and put them on a recently acquired all mahogany parlour guitar. They absolutely brought the guitar to life. Highly recommended by me on this occasion
