I never really got the hype about Klons but I had an Andertons voucher and the Behringer Zentara is currently on offer so I got one.
Tried it with the Marshall origin 20 and it's fantastic on it's Jack Jones so now I have to see what stacks best with it.

What do you stack with your Klon types/klones?

Nice.  Are you using it as a clean boost or an overdrive?

I stack mine with a blue breaker style pedal.

Check out Chris Buck's video where he shares klon settings from famous players at 5:20

It's great into amps with a scooped Fender blackface tonestack as it's otherwise very nasal.

With a hotcake, and sometime with a shredmaster. The latter stacking is very good

Interesting as I was also looking at the Marshall reissues, would probably go for the Guvnor but out of stock at the moment at Andertons.

It stacks well with pretty much any drive pedal I've used tbh.

    So far I have tried:
    Tube screamer mini after.
    Boss Sd1 before
    Ds1 after
    Dod screaming blues after.

    All work well .
Tonight I will try the Thorpies
I must dig out the BYOC pedals I built and try them.

I've found my klon style pedal goes excellently with:
    True North Tweed Drive
    Fulltone Fulldrive 3
    EQD Special Cranker
    BOSS BD Waza

It's great into fuzz too. I set it about like this for whatever, the Shredmaster in particular likes this:
    Gain 10pm
    Treble 1am
    Volume 11-1pm
It works as a straight boost into the next OD/District, but a bit of its own gain really gives a lovely effect, some brightness and a smooth sizzle, if that exists in your ear-brain descriptions

I will try the Zentara into the fall out cloud.

So the Zentara works great into the Peacekeeper and Gunshot, pretty good into the Fallout cloud but I prefer the peacekeeper after the FC a mini spark works well after FC too.
Zentara after Thorpies you need to be careful with settings as you can get a case of flub out.
    Favourite was into the Peacekeeper.

The surprise was when I dug out the BYOC British overdrive (Bluesbreaker I guess) and the Distortion + again the Zentara driving into the others was best. I could even have all 3 on which is more gain stages than I would normally use but sounded great. The Brit was the best of the 2 for me.

I’m using a Wampler Belle into a Tumnus if I’m using a SC guitar, with humbuckers I’m using a treble booster into it.

It still surprises me how amazing the Digitech Bad Monkey sounds.

I literally had my Les Paul>Bad Monkey>Tweed amp and I was getting clean Marshall tones and it reminded me of tone from Ain't It Fun by Guns n Roses.

Tried the Zentara into my Loudpedal last night. Clean channel yuch but that is the same as every drive pedal I have tried with it. However into the drive channel loads better and it makes the boost on the Loudpedal  work great too.

    Next up into Tonex one.
