@underdog I did try doing the fake binding on mine by masking off a small patch of the mahogany and sanding the maple but couldn't get rid of all the dye without sanding too deeply into the maple.I ended up dyeing it again.Sorry to veer off topic but does anyone know of any other method of doing this?

Ok sounds like too much hassle for someone as lazy as me then I love the neck profile on mine, I play it a lot.
