Imgur iphone app - go to the image you want. Long press on it and the standard iOS "share" options pop up. Hit copy image. 

Then paste into the insert image box here and hit space

This is a reminder to myself ( and hopefully a help to others) as I keep forgetting how to post photos from my iPhone!

Hold down photo on imgur app, go copy link, press the downward triangle piece of paper looking tab above the fretboard text box. Paste it in this, and then hit space :And don't forget to set the photo to public !

You don't actually have to set it to "Public" - that just decides whether it's posted in the Imgur community pages as well. If private then only you and anyone you send the link to can see it.

@Roland hope you're the right person to tag - I'm struggling to post images using latest version of OSX from either Chrome or Safari. I can do it from my iOS devices though. Not sure if other Mac users struggling or if there's something weird with my machine, although it is showing same problem from both laptop and desktop. (Both have BitDefender installed, have tried turning that off but it didn't help).

Thanks in advance for any help, in the meantime I'll start using my phone to edit my classified thread. Ta!

I'm sorry I've got access to OSX too ;-)

No mad rush as I've managed to get the images uploaded using my phone, just might be one to add to the bug/test list if there are any releases or fixes in the pipeline. Cheers!

@stickyfiddle when I try to paste the image URL into the small box that pops up from the attach image/file button, I can see the url just briefly as it's pasted, the text entry box disappears, but then there is just a blank space (or sometimes a small blank box) in the thread editing box at the cursor - the image never actually appears.

Is it definitely a ".jpg" or ".png" url you're pasting?

Sounds like a non-direct-to-image-file link..

I've just double checked with the browser interface in imgur gives you when you try to get a link, and the copy and paste text comes up as https://imgur.com/4WAgBrC

In my defence I couldn't see the end of the link when copying and pasting but I should have been more careful. Thanks for your time on this and apologies for the PEBKAC!

I find it easier to right click and chose “copy image address” or equivalent tbh

Anyone else finding the lmages have stopped appearing.If I copy an imgur link it doesn't appear in the post. If I add .jpg it flashes up for a second and then disappears.

I'm on Chrome via a windows PC.

EDIT - it works if I change the extension to .png even though it is a .jpg file. 


Second EDIT - Scratch that. It was a one off. Now back to not displaying when I've added another picture.
