Bucket MR are taking your name in vain

What's Hot
@Bucket you have been name checked under your old MR handle a couple of times on the 25 best chrimbo tracks article.

It looks like they just copy and pasted last years poll and comments.

You get a mention on the In Dulci Jubilo and at least one other.

    LOL

So they're re-hashing a feature from last (?) year, using quotes from a forum that they trashed months ago.  Or "last week" in MR time.

Next week ... Original '57 LP spotted on the moon.  ?

    :D

Nice to know they still haven't seen fit to get the forum back up and running but are still relying on vox pops from former regulars to add some extra weight to their otherwise tissue-thin and pointless articles... no wonder I didn't see it, because since the forum shut down I've had no reason to go back. The rest of the website is just shite.

Ah well, gave me a bit of a chuckle - thanks for sharing!

The whole website is a rehash from various Future magazines, manufacturer sites and blogs.

Remember, it's easier to criticise than create!

Based on their approach to the website, you can probably just re-read some old mags without missing too much.

Across the board Future do this, not just guitar mags.  I had a stack of photo magazines and Sound On Sound that I had been too busy to read.  It was about two years worth and when I looked through it was just a re-hash every 12-14 months.  They had also reworked articles across various magazines that cover the same genre  Then I read this -

Just as well. I didn't want to make the list. Being on the MR list sucks.

I didn't take part, because being on their list would make me an MR whorebag, just like you.

This, coupled with the continued defecation on and trashing of their own assets (such as Guitarist and MR), makes me think that Future are finished.
