For anyone with the USA floyd guitars, how do they compare to an original CU24. I'm particularly interested in what the metal pickups sound like as I feel although high gain, they may be inappropriately named

I'll play as well: 1990 Signature. Had it for eons. Had loads of other PRSi but this is the one I've hung onto. Easily the best sounding IMHO.

Not originally, but I had it in there for a while on a commission sale.  My finances changed and I took it back.

The Collections are better than any other guitar I've ever played, and the bluer one on the right is my main gigging guitar.  I must be the only person in the UK relicing a Collection PRS......

surely your one of only a few PRS Collection players that actually play and gig your guitar which is what they are meant for. Too may PRS collectors out there trying to charge £150 an hour to view their collections!......

Ha ha, indeed!  I've seen that guy on eBay.  Very, very odd.  I never charge anyone to play mine, and I actively encourage people to play them like them stole them when they do!

I was like that when someone let me play a early 50's Goldtop LP (I forget the actual year) - I was quite happy until the owner casually dropped the value of the thing into conversation (about £18k was the last offer he'd received). I couldn't play a note after that and was shitting myself that the strap buttons might pull out of the wood etc...
