There are more, but the pics got lost when photobucket and I had a disagreement. The R08 hiding in the above pic was a stunner.

  • I have only had 3 LP a 80`s SB piece of crap, dead as a door nail, but looked pretty, if you covered one eye whilst dismissing wood filler under the finish on top !

A Custom, that someone had stripped and I bought for £200. Refinished it in spare bedroom with Spectra clear cellulose lacquer and wood stain. may have a pic after I finished it somewhere.

@kelv_w I meant the 2 stunning Les Pauls, Don't think I saw them on music radar, what are they? Thought they were custom shops but can't see any fret edge binding, don't tell me they are oldies!!!

Edit: just remembered, collectors choice, lovely!

@photek spot on :) CC4 and CC8. You've got eagle eye to spot the nib-less frets.

DamianP, any chance of a closer look at the Gibson Lap Steel nestling behind the LP in your shot? [-O<

An old pic, the Gibson and PRS have departed and another Feline and a LP Junior have taken their places.

How do the Felines compare to the Gibbos?
Very favourably is probably an understatement.
I've owned countless Gibson's and largely through MR/FB members have played countless more. The Feline plays and sounds better than all of them -  there were 2 that came close: a 70s LP Custom and a 57 Reissue Black Beauty but, there's a reason I've sold all of my other LP's apart from the Custom Shop Jr and am using the Feline instead.

@Grumpyrocker: Your Traditional looks wonderful, the top is stunning.
@mcsdan: Your '58 reissue is a beauty too.

My favourite though has got to be the ebony 68 custom belonging to @marantz1300. That's just, IMHO bloody awesome!
Keep 'em coming guys cos they sure are purdy

Not helping my rampant Feline GAS @AlexHunter. :)

But not unexpected that they trump the big G given the workmanship and care they get from @FelineGuitars.

One day soon one will be mine.

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i278/bargoedboy/mytelejazzandLP.jpg My only pic I could find of my 56 les paul. Bought for £300 in early 93 from Mills music in Blandford, sold late 93 for I think, £550. Big profit ! X_X I should be happy at profit, now I think .... Why ?
And yes, block inlay, headstock binding ? Somewhere there is a huge ream of quality black and white pics my old Man took that we sent to Robbie Gladwell and Gibson for authentication. Sounded nice anyway.
That is very interesting!! Looks like a re-neck with a Custom neck (did it have an ebony board?) or a one-off custom order.

I'd be wondering if it was Marc Bolan's if it had humbuckers… ;)

That was one of Robbie Gladwells first thoughts, but they were the original P90`s.

Now this is where it gets strange, the fretboard was Rosewood !

Current or last owner I knew, who incidently was previous owner, was a guy called Paul Hart, who ran the Barrelhouse club in Sturminster Newton. Nice guy but he died a few years ago. There is a pic of him with that guitar and Roger Daltrey though on the wall down there.
