Goldtop with P90's is the number one.
Now, I spent a lot of time with mine regarding pickup and polepiece heights. At first I was going to swap out the pickups as I couldn't get the tone I was looking for. But with some advice, I raised the bridge pickup slightly using some flightcase foam underneath and then raised the poles, listening carefully for string balance. My R6 is now hot as hell and can drive any of my amps into overdrive as well as any humbucker guitar I own including my TM '59 replica with BKP Mules. P90's do indeed rock!

Gold Top Les Pauls with P90s are my favourite type.
Awesome looking thing - well done!
It would've been for me too! Looks fantastic, and the ageing is definitely a plus point as far as I'm concerned.
My R4 (with humbuckers - and not Brazilian!) was a bit like that. I kind of wish I hadn't sold it.Looks lovely to me, but is that TRC right?

Sorry for the slight side-track..
Ive the cheapo version of that, the Epiphone 56 with Oil City P90's. Love it.
But good god I love that one of yours @fretfinder
I think the tuner bushings look oversized too - they might be 10mm conversion bushings because someone has put Grovers or similar on it at some point.
