Chord Of The Week 27/8/16 - a C7/E from 'Things That I Used To Do' by Stevie Ray Vaughan (d 27/8/90)

At this week's jam night I played 5 Stevie Ray Vaughan songs in tribute, commemorating his death on this day in 1990. The last of them was "Things That I Used To Do" which contains my favourite SRV solo, the second chorus of which I followed fairly closely in my rendition. He tremolo picks a G5 chord x x x x 15 15 for the first bar, then over the C chord in bar 2 he tremolo picks this C7/E chord fragment - 

C7/E: x x x x 17 18

That would be G7/F if played during the same song, would go well over the G I chord. I was thinking about doing the overbend where he catches 2 strings at once at the 10th fret next week (1:15 in my version, not in SRV's original but he does it loads of times elsewhere)
