R.I.P. Jeff - Oh I know that was a long time ago but I only just picked up that CD (I had heard songs from it) but finally got it last night and what a cracker the rest of it is too.

I saw him live at a small club around the time the album came out - he was astonishing. Every solo was stunning.

Prompted by watching Roadies there has been Reignwolf,  Fleetwood  Mac,  Led Zeppelin and this. I kinda knew it existed but I don't think I'd ever heard it. Some lovely (sic) guitar work probably deeply self indulgent but there you go...

Spotify Discover Weekly turned up this. I don't understand it but I like it. It's very wiggly and has far too many notes but it's ace.

The 4 songs released on iTunes so far of the new Alter Bridge album, The Last Hero. 

I think it's shaping up to be a fantastic and diverse album and I can't wait for the full thing to be released in two weeks' time!!
