Yeah, I've got a phone call with Mr Badger coming from my pledge on there :)

It's now looking fairly unlikely that I'll make it to the Pornograffiti tour, though, given the vet bills our little chihuahua's racking up. Gutted, but not sorry one bit.

They were a one album band for me. Stuff they did after pornograffiti was horrendous, and album before had one decent song on it. Must admit I quite like this "playing our most popular album" touring rather than bands playing what they want to play and thinking they're bigger than their hits.
Wish I could make the gig with Aerosmith, be a cracker that one.

  • Always thought the best thing about Extreme was Nuno. You can just hear the musicality in his playing. Very tasteful, melodic and technically fantastic. I enjoyed the fact he toured with Rihanna's band too. It shows he's not just a one-trick rock pony.

I enjoyed III sides too. He seems to have more cred now than ever.. I might do the Bham show. The institute is great now they've done it up.. I saw the Rival Sons there last year so Extreme in that venue would be incredible :-O

  • Funnily enough, I actually prefer their later stuff - Waiting For The Punchline and Saudades really make them come across as a band who've found their sound.

I reckon they'll film it for a DVD, so hopefully you won't miss out altogether. Agreed that Saudades… is a great album as you mentioned later; one I keep coming back to. I think I just generally love everything Nuno does :)
