I will get pics up later ladies and gents...
I have 2 guitar shaped holes in my collection at the moment (well there are several holes but 2 that I want to fill anyway). I also have 2 reissue LP's so am looking to trade my lovely R7 for the following...
- Gibson ES339 with the 50's neck profile, I can't get on with skinny necks. I prefer the sunburst finish but red might do the trick too.
- Some sort of Telecaster. Again I have a penchant for fatties (guitar necks that is), modern radius fretboard and for relicing. I don't like shiny stuff although I would consider a Shur Classic T also.
- Just a thought but a 62 reissue SG would probably be of use to me. Or any fat neck SG with a vintage styling.
The R7 is not mint, it has had a good gigging life so has some marks on the top, belt buckle marks on the back, nothing that affects the playability though and the neck and frets are perfect and it is setup beautifully. There are a few changes:
- Tuners changed to aged Grovers
- Replacement bone nut (I think it is badger bone but cannot prove this)
- Pickups changed to aged Montys PAF in the bridge and Oil City scrapyard dog in the neck.
- Faber Locking Tailpiece (and ABR-1 which isn't fitted)
- Tone Pros locking ABR-1
- Pots and caps replaces with a lovely Mojo loom that works extremely well with the tone and volume pots working across the full range.
It comes with the original COA, hard case and weighs 9.3lbs.
I am based in Huntingdon, Cambs.
What have you got?

"Does it matter?"
"It mattered to the Badger."
Looking forward to the guitar pics.
Lovely looking beast that one chap. Do these have 7.25'' fretboard radius?
Ahh I don't get on with vintage radius unfortunately. I guess I like fatties with flatties, whatever that means!
Thanks though, looks a lovely guitar.
Some really cool trade offers so far.
This your old one?
I didn't before I borrowed yours!
