I should probably look for another one, I've had a couple but sold them on to people who needed a decent cheap amp, when I wasn't really using them.

I'm a big fan of the old HH VS amps (very much marmite - and the combos aren't much lighter than Wales), the SS Fenders from the early to mid 80s, Sessionettes (steady, @ICBM ;-) ) and these old Peaveys.... they all sound very different and have different strengths and weaknesses.
In fact, I'd far rather have a good SS amp than a mediocre valve amp... :-)
I took it into Spectrum Music at Whitefield and asked the owner to give it to somebody that really needs it. A few months later a guy bought a very cheap electric guitar and it was established that he did not have an amp and was not in a position to buy an amp. Would he like this one? Yes he would.

Great, now I have Inverse Valve Snobbery...
I went straight on ebay last night after seeing this, there's one going for £30. My favourite band in the 80s always played through Bandits. Tempting...
What speaker should be fitted ,i'm looking at one and it has a yellow labelled possible Aitai ?? 10inch 8 ohm tawain speaker
Is this the correct one ?.
The choice of what to fit is now huge, and comes down to personal preference. For me, I would go with another 'American-voiced' speaker, probably an Eminence from the Patriot range - Cannabis Rex, Li'l Buddy, Copperhead or Ragin' Cajun depending on what exact sound you want.
