the mic stand was taken off my previous board and i've been gigging with the same mic for the last 20months. no audible boom when switching pedals on or off. different matter if i kicked/knocked my board with the mic on though.
There's every chance that i did mine wrong, i'm not often seen in B&Q !
Good luck with your gig.
Take one cardboard box and another two for strengthening pieces, some packing tape and some glue, some left over Velcro tape and get all 70's with it.

It's not leaving the house until at least next summer and all my gear is in the living room so i can't leave it out set up. This allows me to keep them safely put away, safe when in use, wired up and easy to plug in.
Cost £0
What's on the board is the new beginnings of what i hope is going to be something awesome.
The red pedal is a prototype for the Sweet Honey Overdrive pedal i'm having built by a very good friend and it's due to be replaced with the actual pedal this weekend.
The buffer was a gift from @photek earlier this year and it's based on a Klon. It works very well indeed. Almost no difference in sound between a 12" patch lead straight into the amp and 20ft cable into those pedals then 10ft cable to amp.
It's humble beginnings but it will get bigger and more comprehensive throughout next year.
Some changes. Maude and BitQ are surgically attatched.

Well, what is the Orion like ?
@wazmeister had an hour with it so far. Very pleased.
A few things have changed recently. Firstly made myself a new pedaltrain style slatted board to replace my previous two-tiered one, which is awesome as now I have more room for pedals!
Also got a Memory Man TT1100 and an H9 which I am loving!

...made possible by brilliant little Phase 95.

After finding a bit of spare time, the board is now all neat and tidy

@Jonathanthomas83 - the SlideRig is great - I'm very happy with it.
Here's the latest incarnation of mine...hollowbody guitars running into a Vintage47 Ric amp (Valco clone)
