Mrs R kindly got me two Boss BCB-60s for Christmas this year which means for the first time ever I'm able to chain all of my pedals together.
Now that I've done so, I'm wondering if there's anything (Boss obviously!) missing. You'll note I don't have any form of overdrive or distortion pedals so that could be one. I've had a Boss OD-20 (twin pedal overdrive/distortion) which was rather a bit too much for my needs. I also had an OC-3 octaver and an AC-3 Acoustic Simulator.
Pedals currently on the board (all Boss) in this order:
- TU- 3 Tuner
- PW-10 V-Wah
- AW-3 Autowah
- CS-3 Compressor/Sustainer
- PS-6 Harmonist
- TR-2 Tremolo
- PH-3 Phaser
- BF-3 Flanger
- CE-20 Chorus (Twin Pedal)
- RE-20 Space Echo (Twin Pedal)
- DD-7 Digital Delay
- RC-3 Looper
My amps are a Roland JC-55 and a Fender Superchamp X2.
All opinions/advice greatly received.
Thanks
Tony

A mild overdrive/distortion would be more to my taste.

Boss SD-1, a classic overdrive. Also cheap and plentiful.
It also has a brilliant hold function which allows you to repeat a sound, giving you a modulating wash. I use this a lot to record to a looper and play lead lines over.
Great fun pedal.

I've had a brief go with them both and I'm preferring the DA-2. The distortion is lovely and clean and not too OTT, pretty much what I'm after.
All I need now is an RV-5 and that'll be it!
