I would like to think it is part of his 'dress code' for being a sideman for whoever he is working for, rather than personal choice.

This one is particularly irritating, both apparently for him judging by the 'nervous twitch' to keep it out of his eyes, and for us for the same reasons.

Still it does change regularly.  He is a diamond on YouTube, so hang on in there, and enjoy the great insights he has to share with us.  :)

I know this guy is successful and all and revered by people who post on certain religious guitar forums, but I find his playing excruciatingly dull.

Have a listen to his album, 'Guitar Nerds' it's anything but...

I like Petes playing on his demos but the album was very run of the mill. A little dull

Just don't get attraction to his playing - competent of course but never heard him play anything that made me rewind and listen again.

I've been watching bits of the Tim and Pete's Guitar Show from the beginning. Bit of a test at times TBH but some interesting moments so I might start catching up on Pete's Q and A.

    Cheers  :)

Well worth a watch IMHO, no matter where you are on the playing or experience scale, there is always something new to learn, and Pete selflessly shares so many insights in these videos, from beginners questions to pro setups, tour to studio, and a lot of valuable personal perspectives too.

I mistakenly posted this a while back as FaceBook Q&A 08, then took it off when I realised my mistake.
    (i.e. F01 would be Facebook Q&A which preceded W01 Wednesday Q&A, FWIW.) /pedant
So here it is in it's proper place.
