*Damn, that is how guitars offered for sale are described.
Nil Satis Nisi Optimum
(I used to love waking up to the sound of these humming and clinking their way up and down our road... happy reminiscing)

Lee Anderton loved a widow, a lady known as Sue,
She lived all alone in Liddley Lane at number 22.
They said she was too good for him, she was haughty, proud and chic,
But Lee Anderton got his cocoa there three times every week.
They called him Captain, (Captaaaaaaaiiiinnnn)
And he owned the loudest amp shop in the west.
I used to have that on a 45!
with those exact lyrics? wow.
Do you remember the B side?
"Stick your finger in your ear and go ting-a-ling-a-loo!"
Not Benny's finest hour.
Very interesting info mate...
They were all great with this 3-dimensional quality to them but my favourite was the PR12 and that's such a sweet-sounding amp; that and the SWR22 have lovely reverb units and whilst the AC20 doesn't have reverb, you could be mistaken for thinking it does (room verb).
They're louder than you'd expect and I'd love to hear a PR12R live with a band or in a rehearsal room to see if it could keep up with a drummer as that would also make a great home amp but the AC20 is probably the more realistic live amp and it does have power scaling. That's the model that I've tried the most (3 times now).
The cleans matched my Divided but seemed a little more percussive and none of the combos sounded boxy.
BTW, at both Andertons and Guitar Guitar (Epsom), I took my pedalboard along when I tried them and they're fantastic pedal platforms.
