So this is something that I’ve been meaning to do for a while: select and source the parts for my ideal s-type guitar. Unfortunately I don’t possess the necessary skills to make or transform them into a decent final guitar, so I entrusted that to three of the FretBoard’s finest craftsmen.
And here is the result, with big thanks to the guys listed below.
S-type body from fleabay, body prep and gorgeous candy apple green paint applied by the Rich - the Welsh paint wizard (@Iamf68), silky smooth rosewood neck with ebony fretboard crafted by Graham (@GSPBASSES), all nickel plated hardware, and some 57/62 singlecoils.
All of these parts were then assembled and tweaked by Tom @FelineGuitars into the beast that you see below.
Chuffed?
Damn right I am.
