Probably a lame question, but I'm not sure if the suffixes - S and GT are that important. An amp running 6V6GTs as stock (Chinese Rubys) could be revalved with JJ 6V6s right? If not Karltone has Tung Sol 6V6GT which are a bit pricier.
It's a 15w Tweaker and I'll be selling it so I wanted decent OP valves (one of the existings is certainly gone)

Yes.
The JJ 6V6 is not strictly speaking a true 6V6, but is fully compatible, hence why it is so named. I believe it may be some kind of eastern bloc military type that JJ happened to have the template for. However, it's a great sounding and very robust valve. I recommend them.
