I love watching this sort of stuff
Offset "(Emp) - a little heavy on the hyperbole."
Charlie, charlieeeeee
It's strange though regarding the algorithms that determine the amounts of hits videos get and thus include others that might appeal and so determine and influence what else we watch. It's almost like mass consciousness on the internet so we are directed to the things of interest before we have even discovered them, not that all of them are interesting. It's like Avatar.
Without a doubt mass consciousness exists in real life anyway even without media so it's scary to see it being harnessed purely in order to control. I realise it's been with us since the age of consumerism and beyond but this next step is dangerous ground. No wonder they are talking about cybernetic telekinetic brain implants these days. Perhaps in the future we will form divisions of insular armies by selection of our Youtube Streams alone...no..it's already happening...and then maybe we will all be telekinetically called up to go to war with each other by our own free will...it's already happening.
It's not the news streams, twiiterazi and blogs we have to worry about, it's the images that resonant deep within our subconscious brains. Anyway, it's scary to see the supposedly most intelligent of us in the world of science agreeing on this concept as the standard of the future.
The only way to insure you still have your own free will in this world is to do the exact opposite of what you are thinking you will do or what your gut instinct tells you.
I'm off to take a shit in the kettle.
