Pretty dumb people all round to be honest, staff and customers.

Hmmm it seems they are deliberately targeting the lower end of the market. Dare I say customers of those shops are more likely to be conned rather than the typical John Lewis and Waitrose shopper.
By the way I'd happily shop at any of those and do but I'm definitely more Farm Foods than Iceland. And pound shops are great for spare iPhone cables etc.

It's worth publicising these stories to stop thick people falling victim to these crimes
YouTube has made pranking people popular and good... So people started doing the shittiest stuff and yelling "it's just a prank" as their defence.
Crossing a line is not suddenly ok because you're filming it.
"Trollstation" faked an armed robbery with a sword scaring the crap out of people... For fun... They have also done other over the top pranks and sound up in jail several times... But the trend for YouTube monetisation of being-a-cock means we'll see more and more pranksters trying to one up each other...
I'm expecting one day someone will be killed and the "it was only a prank" to be said as a genuine defence... And the prankster really won't understand why that's not a justification or defence... Unless people start to say no to this shit.
A prank where people are hurt isn't a prank, making strangers lose any shred of dignity isn't a prank, scaring people to the point they think they will die isn't a prank, all these things are being-a-cunt and should be treated as such
