To be honest I think this is why I don't get hungover. Even if I'm really enjoying a couple of bottles of white wine or a good few pints of scrumpy, I tend to have a glass or two, then follow it up with a glass of water. Even on a night out I make sure I have a glass of water every couple of drinks.
Makes me sound unfun, but you still get drunk, you just don't wind up passing out or wanting to die in the morning.
I started doing it because I got acid reflux if I just drank, probably due to alcohol generally coming alongside crap, fatty food. It helps with that, which helps me have a good time and I get up the next day generally feeling tired and a bit meh, but not massively hungover.

Coffee.
For a "lite" hangover I quite like cheese on toast.

A proper hangover is when you cant stomach anything at all until about tea-time, at which point you can just about manage a couple of pieces of toast. Thats a hangover.
I think that's the point it becomes alcohol poisoning.

8 hours later Matt had a Chinese for 5 (his girlfriend and kids don't eat Chinese), I passed out to be woken by someone kicking me to make sure I wasn't dead, and Rod ended up in hospital with sceptacaemia.
Oh happy days.

Your text to me last night now makes some sort of sense.
When I used to drink I'd have a fry up, some cola and eventually a magnum.
I used to tell myself they helped the hangover.
reslly I think it is just liquids and time.
