Gibson Les Paul Standard 1994
Wine Red
The Good:
Tuners replaced with vintage style Grovers
Pick ups changed for hand wound Oil City Scrapyard Dog+ set. So it sound big, bright and bold! Sounds amazing to be honest.
Everything else is original.
Gator hard case included with sale.
The bad:
Finish is missing and buckle rash in various places, just the places you'd expect of this style of guitar. I expect at least some of it would come out with guitar scratch remover. I've done my best to document this in the photos.
The guitar has a slight buzz when you're not touching the strings, but it only very slight with all but super high gain amplifiers. I'm told that this is standard for guitars of this age. I've not found it an issue as it is only very slight, plus I'm always touching the strings...
The bridge volume knob lets some signal through at 0. Easily fixable with a new knob
Ding in the fret on the g string at the 2nd fret, again fairly standard of a guitar this age.
The ugly:
The back of the neck has some peeling of the lacquer (Pictured) I don't feel that it affects playability at all, but for some that might be an issue.
Despite these mostly cosmetic issues it's still a lovely guitar, sounds and plays great! It's just obviously been well loved.
Guitar is available for viewings. All offers considered. Trades possible and discount for cash.
Cash on collection preferred,

also found out that the slight buzz was because of dodge cabling on my effects board, so just ignore that bit in the description!
