i've recently finished my Boss ES-5 setup but i'm having an issue.
it's not really the ES-5 thats the problem; I have an original Arion Stereo Chorus that my Dad gave me and i like it very much. But when engaging its loop/a patch that contains its loop, it bloody pops. I've pulled it out and put another analog pedal in its loop, same cables and everything, and there's no pop, so it has to be the Arion at fault.
It never did it when connected in series, so what's going on here?
It's powered on it's own isolated socket from a Voodoo Labs 4x4; not daisy chained.

I thought pulldown resistors were related to the bypass circuit in the pedal itself, so would they work if the switching is being done elsewhere?
Don't talk politics and don't throw stones. Your royal highnesses.
