So while there's lateralisation of function in the brain, the study didn't show any preference.
Of course some people see the phrase as some sort of impediment (not literally meaning an issue with your foot, mind) ... rather than a short-hand (but not the squiggles used on the page) for natural traits often seen in people of a given dexterity (but not specifically right handed as dexterity indicates) I might mean sinistrality too.
It's a funny old game (this thing that's not a game) on the one hand there's nothing and on the other hand there's nothing either.
