Removing the switch surround on a Les Paul GT is a nice touch.
I am finally coming around to the idea of an uncovered Bridge pickup - probably influenced by the book Beauty of the Burst.
But I am still firmly: Pick Guard On.
But most of all, I love swamp ash. It just looks the bees knees, my jazzmaster gets a lot of attention for its looks and I'm sure it's more the swamp ash than the one piece flamed maple neck.
