BK seem all about marketing and less about delivery (IMO and all that other jazz)
Been and googled the Mojo Broadcaster bridge PUP because of glowing reports......was the original Broadcaster PUP really this hot waaaaaay back?
and how do you guys match up the neck PUP with such a hot companion?
I agree slightly about the unnecessary extra packaging/strings/guff you get with them, but the pickups are excellent.
No need to put down one company to praise another.

Doug and Pat did their video review of Telecasters which would have been an ideal opportunity to directly compare the sounds of guitars from the fifties, sixties and recent reissues. However, they didn't use the same amp for every guitar so no direct comparisons could be made. Worse still, for me at least, they put some of them through that bloody awful Vox they love so dearly and ended up producing a generic heavily overdriven rock sound. Could have been any guitar.
Phaaaat and hot.
You buy the matching neck unit - that matches nicely. ;-)
Edit - and of course how can I forget the relentless Gibson neck angle drum bashing?
No equivalence with Bareknuckle pickups which are well-made.

BKP make great pickups and have a massive range so unless you’ve tried them all it’s a bit unfair to unanimously put them down, IMO.
I say that not currently owning any BKP’s and the next set I have my eye on are Mojo.
I'm not passing it off as fact. It's an opinion that I am more than entitled to share on a public forum.
You've decided to pull me up on it in a holier than thou fashion for whatever reason.
You are one of the worst offenders for shit talking the same old things like a stuck record. Where's your slap on the wrist?
You should also note I said fuck all about bkp build quality.
If you want any more back and fourth do it on pm

Nothing wrong with opinion. But, if you are going to put down one company against another, might just be worth qualifying with a bit more information .i.e which of the 10 or so BKP pickups did you compare against which of the 6 or so Mojo?
Did you compare like-for-like magnet and wire type. Was the build quality better on one than the other?
Might just be worth qualifying what makes them in a different league, in your opinion. Did you compare apples to apples?
I fancy a pair of mojo's next. I don't own any BKP's at the moment, but have owned many and know they can make some great pickups, but it's very subjective and about getting the right ingredients for each individual player.
