Purchased by me in around 2005, and lived largely in a case since then and not enjoyed nearly frequently enough, this 1974 (suggested by the serial, but it was sold to me as a 1973..) Strat is an absolutely lovely player. It's been refinished but it's a great job, very thick and looks great. The neck Is surprisingly clean for the age.
Everyone who's played it has enjoyed it, and I will be sad to see it go - but it's just not getting the use.
Not much more to say really, Happy to travel (within reason) in the north west or a bit further if somebody wants to meet up to take a look at it etc.
Looking for £1600 or guitar trades considered - particularly Gibson 335's

I can get some pictures of the neck butt markings tomorrow (Sunday) so will add some
As dombennison above has said (he's played this more than a few times!) the neck is great.
It's rounded, silky smooth, and very easy to fret despite the vintage. I have quite a collection of Ibanez's with nice big fretwire, and it plays just as well - if not better! - than those in my opinion. Sure you need slightly better technique compared to a brand new modern guitar with jumbo frets.. but this is still a breeze!
The radius is nice and comfy, for lead work or for chords. But this is always subjective I guess. Everyone who's played it loves it.
I believe the re-finish is nitro. I wouldn't know for sure though.
