Is the 381 much deeper than the 360? I assumed it would be deeper, but with a bigger chamber inside, so that it wouldn't actually have that much more wood.

Mind you, my 360/12 is quite a bit heavier than my 360/6. I'm not sure if that's due to extra structural wood to cope with 12 strings, or because the 12 is the old-style shape (more 330 like) whereas the 6 is the newer rounded style.

I don't have a 360 to compare it to but I've just measured the body depth of the 381 and it's approx 65mm thick, compared to my 330 which is roughly 40mm thick.
