Into light & mid rock, prog, Floyd, sixties, seventies, surf, blues, and would give most stuff a go, as long as it isn't too fast and doesn't feature obscure chords.

Where-abouts you hoping to meet? Might be able to come along for the odd sesh if location and day/time isn't prohibitive.

I'm fairly awful though, my talent is disproportionate to the amount of money I spend on gear, it's a compensatory thang.

Good to hear from you @Haych. The venue is not yet confirmed but is likely to be in Stroud, Gloucester or Cheltenham. We haven't agreed what day/time work best, but have decided to meet once a month initially. Will p/m you.

Yesterday marked our first 'unofficial' western jam at Two Rivers Studios near Cheltenham. We are a relaxed group looking to improve by learning complete songs and generally sharing what we each know. if this sounds like something you would enjoy, why not come along to our next session on Saturday 17th November - you will be warmly welcomed!
