  • The afterglow Chorus which they don't have there was good but all the others I've tried from that range have been pretty poor

    Behringer pedals at £29
Which isn't exactly a bad thing. They've improved everything about the innards, cases, dials and switches. Home players and beginners / kids can try them out and experiment with different sounds without spending a great deal of money.

The switches, jacks, pots are better on these, and the obviously the cases

The 3rd Dimension and the Afterglow are the only ones that would really interest me, and neither are in stock. But cheers for the heads up.

I've ordered the Honey Pot which isn't in stock but hopefully they're getting some in within the next week

My 3rd Dimension is on order, as a backup for my DC2.  Maybe it'll turn up, maybe it won't :-)

I went for the Honey Pot fuzz after regretting selling my Big Muff Pi Nano. Should cover that base as a cheap alternative.

must say I'm quite tempted by a £29 pedal that just says RUSH and has a switch and one knob.

Don't much care if it has nothing inside it

  • I had the flanger and it sounded pretty good.

Yeah but I think they will probably find their market value at this price

Think this price drop is across the board - I've only searched the Thunderstorm flanger, but it's the same on Gear4Music, Andertons, Thomann and GuitarGuitar.

I've got the 3rd Dimension Chorus, which is a real bargain at that price. It's not the typical watery chorus most people think of, but it nails that doubling sound with just a bit of movement. In terms of how close it is to the DC-2, I can't say, but the lack of stereo doesn't put me off particularly.

Trying to resist a 3rd Dimension. I've already got the incredible Visual Sounds H20 V3 but there's something about the sound of that 3D pedal...

Does anyone have any experience of the Iron Curtain noise gate?

  • I've grabbed a crescendo.
I really liked the slow gear on the ms-3 so I hope the TC pedal is close
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

I've heard that TC are going direct to stores now, with no middleman dealer (no point anyway to be honest)....so prices are dropping.
