    Love paisley!
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

Love them. Quickly becoming my best seller!

  • I've had both Paisley and Blue Flower Tele's (Japanese), so definitely a fan.

I'd also love a Paisley Strat, but for me they have to have the bursted Paisley pickguard and a CBS era headstock with three bolt neck joint - the reissues that deviate from that don't float my boat at all.

If you think the paisley teles are marmite, try a paisley jazzmaster!

The old Paisley's look cool, when there's a mismatch in fading between body and pickguard. I'd love a Blue Flower but I'd need to see it in person first, there seem to be a couple of variations on that design, one quite crude, the other more detailed.

I'd like a Blue Flower Telecaster Bass.

But I don't like the pickguards, sorry... either the clear ones or the bursted ones. I much prefer them with a nice late-60s pearl.

Hey if paisley was good enough for George  Harrison, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page, it's good enough for me. Not my preferred choice but if anyone would like to donate a paisley Tele to me, I'll suffer it!  =) :)
I started out with nothing..... but I've still got most of it left (Seasick Steve)

Sorry, but they're a bit too busy for me. Standard bursts are about as far as I can go in terms of art - I'd rather my guitars be weird in different ways (like Reverends).

Actually now I come to think about it, you're right.. the Beck Page Tele was Dragon not paisley that Jimmy painted himself and I think my memory must have also played tricks on me re Harrison.  Getting old! Ok, swap for James Burton and Brad Paisley! Lol

James Burton in Roy Orbison black and white night is why I love a paisley tele. The guitar cuts through like nothing else and the tone Burton gets is to die for in the gig

I like them, although I've never seriously considered buying one.  I think I first became aware of them in the late '80s, seeing MIJ reissues in the window of Rokas in Denmark Street.

I think they have to have the clear/bursted scratchplates though.  White plates look like they're just hiding good paisley.

That big-headstock Strat at 2'30" in the YouTube clip looks fantastic.

    Love them too.

They seem more tomato ketchup than marmite so far lol

I wonder if Brad Paisley would have a Paisley guitar if that wasn't his name

Maybe Ian Paisley should get his own signature
