I think Gilmour's solo on Time is probably the best crafted solo I can think of ..... just perfect for the song and so expressive.
In a different way Eddies solo on Beat it is also perfect for the song, just so aggressive sounding
How could I forget that one. Add that to my list. An absolute masterpiece of phrasing, technique, feel and expression. It still makes the hairs on my arms stand on end listing to it again.
