You'll drift right off
Remember, it's easier to criticise than create!
is it crazy how saying sentences backwards creates backwards sentences saying how crazy it is?
I've been listening to music to fall asleep to since I was 15. I've been through a hell of a lot of music and many styles in that time. Of the criteria you state, I suggest:
Kurt Vile's Walkin On a Pretty Daze album.
The whole thing is on Spotify.
From what I've listened to so far there is definitely stuff I have added to my general listening list
As far as sleep goes - should have said that the only non-negotiable on my list of preferences is that it absolutely must be instrumental - other stuff still welcome though as it's always good to expand horizons
Boards of Canada on shuffle is a great way to drift off...….. this one has guitars
+1 for John Martyn
Loren Connors 'Airs' is a bit special as well.
My feedback thread is here.

Awesome album, melodic, repeating increasingly complex layered rhythmic themes - great guitar work.... super relaxing.
If I listen to this album when boarding a plane, i’ll be asleep before takeoff.
