My main guitar for the last six years is a custom archtop with a violin varnish finish, so I feel really comfortable on the C's super thin finish. It sinks into the pine body and you can feel the grain in places.
I haven't had a chance to play it out loud yet, but I have played it in a few workshop settings. The guitar (not my playing) has had plenty of compliments.
My archtop is looking a little lonely as I sit here trying to learn some pedal steel licks!

Congratulations!
Very nice.
Really like to try one of these out. Wonder how they compare to the Fender sig?
Not a big tele guy but appreciate those that can really get the best out of them.
I do like the fact that these have 10 coats of finish which shows the luxury, sure Leo had it down to five back in the day LOL.
I have a friend who is a Tele fanatic and it does tend to seem, Tele players lust after different small builders who then get swamped. My friend was rabid for a Rick Kelly pine a number of years back LOL.
