Small world. We nearly never got to play as H&S closed the stage due to the awful weather. Luckily the rain stopped and they managed to get the stage dry.

Lots of things got moved, I completely missed Glenn Matlock then had to choose between Neil's band and Bad Manners due to the rearranged schedule. Bad Manners were one of the reasons I went so Neil owes me a pint at least...

Yes, I saw Quo - were you able to? I've never seen them before, I gather they were contracted for an hour but having got there did a full set anyway ( another thing that messed up festival timing). There were suddenly a lot of people in the audience for that, don't know where they all came from!

The festival facilities were okay rather than great and it's a very mixed bag music wise so probably won't bother next year. Upton is also on my patch for work so I bumped into people I'd have rather avoided over a bank holiday weekend!

Had to run straight from being the Bearded Lady at a Freak Show to playing a set on the main stage. Local photographer tried to crop out the velvet ballgown I'm wearing, but you can still tell.

Not quite - my elbow is still a bit crooked, and the limiting factor is how far I can curl my fingers up at the same time as stretching my arm out, hence the Mustang Bass... playing low notes on the bottom string of my Rickenbacker is still difficult. I can do it, but it gets tiring and painful quite quickly, after just a few songs - but I played the whole gig (50 min set) with the Mustang and never noticed it - in the first pic I appear to be playing an F on the E string, which is the real test!
