My friend has fallen in love with my copy of a well known bass often used by Lemmy, Paul McCartney, Chris Squire etc. etc. and I have fallen out of love with it.
I don't know how much to ask for it though, since you can't find any sold listings to compare it to. It's a Rockinbetter from 2008 - when they were still neck through and a lot closer to the real thing, with the electrics from a 70s Hondo 2 (stereo jack out and everything) and a Hipshot bridge. It's a bit nice, and it plays a bit nice.
it is not the real thing, and both of us know it, the TRC says Rickenbastard in homage to Lemmy.
I don't think £600 is too much to ask, but I'm worried I might be way out - in either direction.
I'm not looking to sell it to anybody other than my mate, who lives round the corner, but I don't want to rip him, or me, off.Base theme by DesignModo & ported to Powered by Vanilla by Chris Ireland, modified by the "theFB" team.

I’m so bored I might as well be listening to Pink Floyd
Trawl eBay, Gumtree and Reverb to research typical market values. Here are a few old/ended ones for starters.

Don’t muck about with Chinese knockoffs, it’s just not worth it.
That was exactly what I was thinking, it is in that Basschat thread as well, possibly before I did all the work on it.
I got a warning for just asking about it on BC, so I think I'll get what I can for it from my mate while the opportunity is there.
Thanks all.
