Pedalboard overhang therapy group

What's Hot

https://flic.kr/p/2eCfBXw

AAAAAAAARGH! It’s hanging off both ends! I can’t decide between the two drive pedals! The plug sticks out! It’s a bit tight in the case! Please don’t make me turn the tremolo sideways!
*whimper*

The pedalboard equivalent of 'muffin top'.

Surely you can get the pedals closer together by staggering them?

    Or a smaller Rat-type pedal

Or a Thorpy Warthog mini would sit nicely...

rotate both the polytune and BB 90 degrees then you will only have one overhang at least.

    (thinking.... this is Pedal Tetris!)

Good job there's no OCD pedal on that, it would mess with my, er, OCD.

Get rid of the pedal tuner and use a Polutune Clip instead.

Sideways tuners on pedalboards do my nut like nothing else.
Any other pedal can go however you like, but the entire point of having a tuner in the first place is for it to be visible and readable. If you put it sideways you're no better than those freaks with their headstock tuners.

  • Get one of the new Pedaltrain pedalboard tuners, that’ll sort it.

I got a PT metro as I couldn't bear getting a nano+ and having the power plugs hanging over the edge ready to get snapped off.

I've just invented a pedalboard that is 20% bigger than it looks.

What really makes me itch is that I'm pretty sure it would all fit if it wasn't trying to upset people.

Staggering and rather chubby TC Electronic and Fender pedals mean there's quite a bit of overhang on mine. And yes, the bag is getting a bit tight....

Pedals placed Sideways are just wrong and my big gripe with mini pedals is that I don't have mini feet, so the foot switch spacing has to be so wide that I might as well have normal pedals

I had to google what that was - what a brilliant idea!

If you just looked at the pedalboard down on the floor you'd say "this imposter has no right to join the Overhang Therapy Group.

Four of those pedals aren't even plugged in! (My power supply only has 8 x 9V outputs.  The Polytune is currently battery powered - woe is me).

But look above in my effects loop sitting on the 2x12 - these two pedals are definitely overhanging.
