Hi,
ive picked up a v2 katana 100 1x12 amp for use at home mainly and also a standby backup for my Laney VC30 which is playing up and needs to go for a service and valve biasing after some hairy recent moments at gigs.
I havent had had chance to rip it volume wise in a big room yet but I’ve been mightily impressed so far by its sound. so much so that for that price I’m tempted to get another one the same for some stereo experimentation and make use of some of the stereo pedals I have. I could feasibly make it work as my sound is pretty clean and I’m using less dirt these days.
has anyone done this with their katana(s)? And to what extent.
i tried a stereo rig a while back but shelved it due to the ground hum issue but hoping that 2 identical amps won’t pose the same issue (or am I wrong?)

I ran them clean with pedals into the front, splitting the signal to stereo via a chorus and delay pedal.
I have a video somewhere of me gigging with this setup that I posted. I’ll try and dig it out and post the link here.

The guitar is indeed a Yamaha 611hfm.
Can you run two Katanas with one GA-FC?
