I don't think he ever fully recovered from that Woodstock acid trip
I would love to change my username, but I fully understand the T&C's (it was an old band nickname). So please feel free to call me Dave.

It really did lol  My view is any band who advertise on bbc breakfast should have stopped 10 performing  plus years ago. D

The whole convo was amazing tho just an incoherent  mess of psuedo positivity  burping, women, And how africa is all about being happy etc  .... Truly the highlight of my week.

    Where's the burp?
Just as he starts talking about woodstock (2:59:25)

Not sure if it was a real burp or just him saying "errr" though.

    Oh yeah. Awesome.
He's got a real hippy vibe going on, but one that I often see in people in his position of wealth and celebrity where it's difficult to be sure if it's genuine or not. He certainly doesn't answer the questions very well.

He also comes across a bit camp in places, but perhaps that's just how his accent has developed having lived in various countries.

He's into new age stuff is all. He uses all the clichés as anyone into that stuff would and says what we expect him to say. No surprises.

And enough catfish molé would make anyone burp.

I learnt via a Tim Pierce podcast that Carlos only plays lead guitar and his tracks that are delivered to him as completed tracks, awaiting his melody lines.

Santana IV a couple of years ago with the reunited Gregg Rolie/Neal Schon lineup isn't bad.  Not as good as the early '70s albums, but certainly better than all the "featured vocalists" cack he's been doing for the last couple of decades.

Have you heard Guitar Heaven?  Dear god it's shite.

Collaborating with women seems to have turned him incredibly effeminate, apart from the belching, that is.
