I have probably been offered every single one of them at least once in prospective part-exchange trades.
Here is a selection of basses I have owned or built for customers.
My P bass that I built for myself, has a Seymour Duncan quarter pounder pick up with a EMG 3 band preamp, I gave this bass to Chicken Shed. The second photo is of the bass being used at a charity event for Chicken Shed at the Hard Rock cafe London.
Fairly standard Jazz bass with Seymour Duncan quarter pounder pickups and a 3 band electronics from East .
A slim line 24 fret super Jazz bass, Bartolini pickups EMG preamp. This bass started life as a fretted bass, several years later it had the frets removed, then come back recently to have the fret put back (I did post how that was done last year ).
A 24 fret Thunderbird bass, through neck all mahogany and walnut construction, ebony finger with MOP block inlays, electronics from East.
5 string fan fret Jazz, EMG pickups and 3 band EMG preamp, I still own this one.
5 string small body bass, the pickup is a Ken Armstrong custom wound music man, on board electrics are Seymour Duncan. This bass has a hard life, it belongs to a professional bass player who plays bass on cruise ships, it's been round the world several times. He now uses the bass playing in the orchestra pit in West End musicals.
A Commission build of a 5 string music man.
A John Entwistle spider bass.
A left handed Sei Bass (copy) Kent Armstrong soap bar pickups and preamp.
A very pink Ricky, with P J Seymour Duncan Quarter pounder pickups with electronics by East.
A 32inch short scale slim line Jazz bass, still for sale.
This is the first bass I built, I was still at school studying for my “O” levels. It was built from mahogany with a none adjustable trust rod. I used it for about a year (1960 to 1961).
I then built a P bass copy, at the time you couldn't buy proper P bass pickups. The lead guitarist in Band work for Watkins he made a pickup for me.
On the bench now a couple of 30 inch short scale basses I'm building for the youngsters at Chicken Shed. I will be writing I full build diary of these in near future.

I've owned load of basses over the years, but I'm down to two now, both of which I built myself.
This is the first one, currently fitted with Seymour Duncans and a John East preamp.
The second one has a pickup from a Musicman Bongo and another John East preamp. Both weigh around 7lbs.
I've got two others half-built, but they've been like that for years - I've got a pair of Bare Knuckle Jazz bass pickups and a Bare Knuckle P bass split pickup waiting for them if I ever get them finished.

Also, can someone insert the image into this thread please? (I don't use Imgur so not sure of procedure).
As for the basses I am a long time fan of Warwicks and its the only basses I have had for the last 22 years with a slight dabble with a Stingray I did not get on with.
But from left to right, ‘89 Thumb with EMGs, ‘89 Thumb fretless with Barts, best sounding bass I have ever tried, and Streamer Stage 2 with Barts. That’s my main gigging bass for the last 4 years. I have a Stage 1 5 string but no room in the pic.
Bartolinis sound like an interesting idea. My SS1 has Duncan Phase 1 narrow pickups.
