Off to New York on Sunday - School me on the best places to eat

For breakfast Pershing Square and Lexington Brasserie were excellent. Although American and Canadian Bacon can be a bit dodgy.

If you fancy Italian we went up to a place in the Bronx called Marios. Excellent food and the portions are ridiculous. If that’s a bit too far out , Otto is really nice. The pizza was excellent, pasta was decent but I would stick to pizza if I went back.

I dont think I would recommend Katzs. If you do go, share a sandwich, and even then you might be too full to eat for the rest of the day. It’s probably the only place I ate in New York that I wouldn’t go back to.

Also, if you like BBQ, John Brown smokehouse in Queens and Mighty Quinn’s were awesome. They are a fairly casual dining experience though, not the kind of place you hang around talking after eating. Mighty Quinn’s had a beer called Ol Dirty Bastard, worth going just for that !!
