    Unbelievable, like a fairytale.

Pinch yourself. We just witnessed the greatest end to a Cricket World Cup ever that will probably never be repeated. Get the Blu Ray or DVD and tell your grandkids.

    we were there

Unbelievable drama!  A cricket world cup, British Gp and 3 tip runs.  Not a bad day

Harsh on NZ who scored the same as England in the 50 and also super over.  But I’m not complaining!

What a great day of sport. The only fly in the ointment was bloody Djokovic winning Wimbledon.

Wow - Wish I knew some better words

NZ total credit to the game, themselves and their country - But that was excellent

Sat on the sofa at 10am - 2 trips to the loo - 2 to the kettle - Never moved - 10 hours of excellence

Surely they have just won team of the year at SPOTY (for what it is worth) - Only the Rugby Team winning the WC could take it of them

    Well done to England

I had it on the radio, tried the TV but it was too weird, I'm only used to cricket on the radio.

Even so, I had to switch off halfway through the England innings, then came back a couple of overs before the end.

Couldn't believe how it ended.  Total insanity.

Incredible game, watched it all live on TV and the tension was unbearable at times.

Having seen the overthrows clip again I think the umpires made a mistake in awarding six runs to England, and cost New Zealand the game.

Law 19, 5 states that the run in progress should be allowed provided the batsman have crossed before the ball is released by the fieldsman. They definitely had not crossed before the ball was released, so only the first run should have been awarded, plus the four overthrows.
