    I saw that listed somewhere in a USA journal  - Also, allegedly, and this was part of the same article, Dean claim that Gibson had threatened a USA Gibson dealer, with legal actions,  who also stocked Dean Guitars

    Not taking sides with Gibson, but I think that headstock was based on the 1957/58 Gibson Futura.
