EVH 'Kramer Pacer' anyone?

What's Hot

EVH finally did it and has released a new 5150 model in his lineup.

I want a red one and a grey one, plus an olive one as well.

Yeah, I agree. I think it is my favourite of the three standard finishes.

Aren't Kramer owned by Gibson and EVH heavily associated (owned?) by Fender?

This could all play out nicely.

It's not the same body or headstock shape. I like the look of it.. but hopefully Gibson will start doing Kramers properly now this has happened.

    Too tidy, too many pickups.

Has a slight N4-ness about the body ...maybe just the position of the toggle switch

@FelineGuitars - I knew it reminded me of something.  The switch maybe, plus I think the fact they're longer lengthways and narrower across the waist.

    Nice looking guitar.

The body shape looks authentically Kramer, slightly slimmer than standard Fender. Not sure about the pickup switch location, these things should be standardised like car indicators.

Shot through the heart, and you’re to blame, you give love a bad name. Not to mention archery tuition.

I'm not a fan of the flame top versions, but I like the solid colour ones a lot.

I always thought superstrats should have either flat or metallic finishes, the combination of flame and locking bridge hardware does nothing for me it must be said.  I think it was growing up with the Van Halen DIY ethos thing.

Then again I always maintained that gold hardware on anything was a travesty and now own no less than three guitars with the very same.
