Looking for ways to record decent quality audio into my iPhone and just wondered what people would recommend? It needs to be something simple and easy to set up as it's really for ideas that just pop into my head. Or is there a better recommendation for getting ideas down quickly, but in a way so that the quality might actually be useable when transferred to Reaper etc?
I have mics etc already but presumably, there's something smaller and more portable that would work better?
I've previously just been using the iPhone inbuilt mic and Garageband, which is fine but when I'd kind of like to improve the quality now.
Cheers,
Dom

Not used any of the above.
What is it you are trying to record (i.e. mic or DI input?). Do you need more than one input?
