We’ve recently banned a number of spammers. They each attempted to build credibility by starting a thread using text copied from another forum. It’s easy to do. Find a popular thread and copy the contents of the first post. If the thread was interesting on another forum then it’s probably going to get serious replies here. Well it will do if it’s a thread about guitars, but rapidly gets Flagged if it’s about asbestos insulation.

So, primed with this knowledge, please be wary of any new members’ threads which have nothing to do with guitars. We don’t want a witch hunt, so please Flag rather than commenting in the thread.
