S-1 switching presents special pickup and wiring modifications -the S-1 switch is built into the master volume control knob and delivers combinations including all three pickups at once, parallel/in-series options and out-of phase sounds 

Passing Lane” pushbutton switch. When engaged in all pickup switch positions, it unleashes the full sound of the bridge pickup, bypassing everything else—including the volume and tone control knobs—for pure, raw humbucking sound great for soloing.
