2016 Fender Custom Shop '64 Strat Relic with the excellent Ancho Poblano pickups. Sounds superb and plays beautifully.

I already have a very similar 1961 CS Strat and have decided I'm going to stick with it, so the '64 has hardly been out of the case even though it's a thing of beauty. 8)

Love the wood figuring combined with the tort guard - that's a beaut.

That is gorgeous. Would you consider a (nice!?) discount for a NI sale?

Nice quartersawn neck too.  There's some great-looking timber in that guitar.

It really is a beautiful looking and sounding instrument, very resonant and wonderful to play. It may prove more difficult to part with than I first thought... :)

My guitar originally and it was sold to raise money. I was very sad to let it go. It’s light, it’s resonant and it looks fantastic. Even my missus who hates sunburst guitars thought it was a stunner. You’ve also got the ancho poblano pickups- the best Fender have made since the 60s in my view

Just checked it on the scales, it's 3.2kg or just over 7lbs.

Not a fan of Relic Strats, 3TS finishes....and I've never been to Belfast. Yet oddly 'why do I always end up Nick's Cafe?' (substitute this post)....well you get the picture....

@SRich ; I had the very same experience with the original ad..... really didn't need another Strat but kept going back to it, hypnotized by the wood grain, until I eventually succumbed.

    It wants you next :)
