SCAMMER WARNING: Due to a spate of recent scam attempts (some successful) recently, if you're doing a deal in the classifieds, ONLY USE PAYPAL GOODS AND SERVICES UNLESS YOU KNOW THAT INDIVIDUAL PERSONALLY. It's really not worth saving a few quid.
SOLD Godin XTSA as new £600

Let the pictures do some talking ...
Not sure that it's possible to get a more flexible guitar!
It can be used as pure electric, as electric/acoustic mixed (mix varied with the onboard volume control) or through any of the (eg Roland) guitar synths.
The acoustic sound is pretty realistic - back in the day I used this to record something for one of the Riffs competitions here, and everyone assumed that I'd used a real acoustic.
This one is from 2006, so it still has the "proper" woods - Ebony fretboard on a Mahogany neck, flame maple top on top of the body which is poplar wings either side of a maple centre.
Locking tuners. Schaller locking strap pins. Medium nickel frets/
25 1/2" scale length.
Condition is as mint as it's possible to get. No dings or dents or scratches. The plastics on the back still have their original protective coverings on them. In the padded Godin gig bag with all the original bits in it, including the whammy bar.
It's not a lightweight - 8lbs 10oz.
MR reviewThese seem to have been hit with a few price increases recently, now ~£1000 new, and you'll not find a proper ebony fingerboard on them any more.
£700. £650. £600. You'll not find more sounds in a quality guitar for less money!
I'm on the Suffolk/Norfolk border. Would prefer not to ship but could look to meet somewhere along the A12/A14, or a London (City) meet-up.

Remember, it's easier to criticise than create!
If someone buys this, then I can buy something else that someone else is selling, which means that the someone else can then buy a different something else that another someone else is selling, which probably means that the other someone else can go buy another other something else ... and eventually, someone's going to be able to buy that thing that YOU have been trying to sell for ages.
See, it makes sense. Buy this guitar!
Please resend!!

No, I’m not.
There's an active Godin group - I could post the guitar for you with a link back here if you like.

I’d appreciate that - thanks @Fretwired. I’ve successfully avoided joining FB thus far, and I reckon I’ve only got a couple more years to avoid it before it’s replaced with the next big thing ...
@funkfingers - does that help? The white foam on top of the PCB is stuck to it (though you can see it peeling away at one end), and the PCB itself is screwed/fixed into the cavity.
It's all as it left the factory. I don't think I'd even taken the cavity cover off before!
If Godin were factory-fitting it as standard in 2006, then it's there. If not, it's not!
I've had the guitar from new, and never changed a thing on it, so it's completely as factory-spec. Can't say that I've noticed any issues with midi-tracking, but then I've hardly used it extensively either.
@Funkfingers
That bottom 3-way selector switches between the acoustic, eletric & synth outputs (via the 13pin output).
- pos1 = acoustic/electric (which can be blended by the respective acoustic/electric vol controls)
- pos2 = acoustic/electric/synth (ditto)
- pos3 = Synth only.
It appears that Godin has merged the S1/S2 functions into a single DPDT or DP3T.
(I’ve just read ‘subliminal advertising techniques for dummies)

Looking for a smallish amp if anyone's got anything that they'd like to add towards a trade?
No longer looking for a smallish amp, nor a largeish one, nor even an inbetweenish sized one.
But still open to cash offers on the XTSA
